Golbang

Golbang is a ceremonial flower delivery brand specializing in curated arrangements for occasions such as grand openings, weddings, funerals, and other formal events. Orders are placed online through the brand’s website, offering a seamless and accessible experience for selecting and delivering floral arrangements.

At the core of Golbang’s concept is the idea of transforming flowers from a temporary gesture into a lasting memory. Each arrangement is thoughtfully designed so that, once the flowers have withered, its structure can remain as a commemorative sculpture—a lasting object that preserves the memory and significance of the occasion.

For this project, I worked as the Creative Director and Logo & Visual Identity Designer, overseeing the creative direction and developing the brand’s visual identity and logo.

Inspirations

Drawing inspiration from Iranian miniature paintings, the second concept reimagines Golbang’s visual identity. Taking cues from the Jalairid painting school, axonometric perspective is used in the visual elements, while the geometric form of Taq in architecture serves as a metaphor for presence and internal positioning in the overall design.

Story

The archer rider, a common motif in miniature paintings, symbolizes the company’s new venture by shooting flowers to bring forth the nobility and beauty of floral arrangements. The faceless hunter rider adds a mysterious and fantastical element to the design, scattering flowers from a hole in his face.
