Rosun
Rosun is an art shop located in London, drawing inspiration from a harmonious blend of “Ros,” meaning clay in Persian, and “Sun” in English. As an Iranian art space and retail platform, Rosun is dedicated to bringing the rich artistic heritage of Iran and Afghanistan into dialogue with a contemporary international audience. The brand curates and presents traditional artworks and handcrafted objects by Iranian and Afghan artists, creating a space where cultural heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary appreciation intersect.
For this project, I worked as the Logo and Visual Identity Designer, developing Rosun’s visual identity to reflect its cultural character while establishing a refined and contemporary presence within the London art and design landscape.

Main Concept & Inspirations
The visual identity translates elements of Iranian cultural heritage into a contemporary visual language. Inspired by the Sema dance of Rumi, the logo transforms the figure of the whirling Sufi into a simplified spin drum doll, symbolizing the cyclical nature of creation, movement, and light. Gem-like spheres at the fingertips introduce a sense of craftsmanship and creative energy.
Persian and English typography are combined with spatial depth inspired by Persian miniature painting, creating a visual language that bridges Persian and international audiences. The color palette draws from the architectural and ceramic traditions of Iran, reinforcing the brand’s connection to its cultural heritage.
